Where did the idea for your company come from?

I have always been close to the nature since my childhood when we were spending summer holidays with our family at our mountain cottage – very basic and rustic. There we collected herbs and other plants from the meadow or forest, we were bathing in healing springs and learned about the power hidden in natural resources.

Experiences I obtained by studying and working abroad created an understanding of multicultural approaches, which developed my professional and personal life. It was a good base for making my first independent steps to open own business where my creativity and ideas can become real.

What does your typical day look like and how do you make it productive?

I wake up and welcome a day by having thankful thoughts for every new morning. This is a small ritual on pursuing happiness. I am the creator of a whole new day, which just started. During the day I like to work actively by my schedule to accomplish my tasks.

How do you bring ideas to life?

I use my imagination for constructing the idea from the beginning to the final state before I even start to create and then I observe my emotional reactions. If the ideas stick the positive enthusiasm, that is the time of action!

What’s one trend that excites you?

Regenerative medicine based on one’s own genetics is our future. Every single cell in our bodies has been created by the nature for some particular reason and finally the function of stem cells is to find injured cells in the body and start the regeneration process.

What is one habit of yours that makes you more productive as an entrepreneur?

I regularly observe successful people, and by doing so, increasing my will to create. I really feel that way my brain releases a mixture of substances that boost me.

What advice would you give your younger self?

Keep listening carefully to your intuition, but this time act as well. To go out of your comfort zone is the essential part for materializing your dreams into the reality.

Tell us something that’s true that almost nobody agrees with you on.

The truth is a very individual matter for each one of us. I respect individual truths when they are supported by one’s own judgment, which can be very inspiring in the end.

As an entrepreneur, what is the one thing you do over and over and recommend everyone else do?

Think your intentions through to the details and try to connect them into one complex. Write down each idea and then sort them into a frame, and then carefully and frequently look at your work, if you find any flaws, adjust them to the stage of perfection.

What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business?

I have had a clear vision of my goal and even though there were situations when it looked that it will not be possible due to adverse external influences, I was being very stubborn to turn it upside down by finding the right solutions.

What is one failure you had as an entrepreneur, and how did you overcome it?

It was an idea to make a business with a friend, fortunately the thought never became even close to reality. In a conclusion, I think it is better to separate personal and business life to keep beautiful friendships spotless.

What is one business idea that you’re willing to give away to our readers?

Ecological public transport is our future to keep breathing! Another problem is waste – we are surrounded by too much waste, especially packaging that can not be properly recycled. Most likely, I can get upset when the packaging of a product is wrapped in other layers, although it is not necessary. I am cheering on every entrepreneur trying to find solutions in this area.

What is the best $100 you recently spent? What and why?

An amazing investment I did recently was to pay a professional PR specialist to help me open a new market. $100 was a part of the whole amount.

What is one piece of software or a web service that helps you be productive? How do you use it?

It is hard to choose, because one piece is a part of the entire puzzle of tools needed for my daily work. More important for me is to disconnect from the digital world, leave all devices at home, feel the freedom and clean my mind in the nature. I can highly recommend this detox to anyone!

What is the one book that you recommend our community should read and why?

Strategy Rules by D. B. Yoffie and M. A. Cusumano. This book is full of inspiration about the successes and failures of three leaders who changed the world.

What is your favorite quote?

I use two quotes, the first is created by my great-grand-father but it is in the Czech language and is a bit vulgar, in English would have the meaning – Those who are afraid to enter are the ones peeing outdoors! The second one is Carpe Diem!

Key learnings:

  • The truth is a very individual matter for each one of us.
  • Separate personal and business relationships to keep beautiful friendships spotless.
  • I believe regenerative medicine based on one’s own genetics is our future.
