Where did the idea for your company come from?

While working as an attorney I decided that I could offer services in a more efficient manner so I decided to start my own law firm.

What does your typical day look like and how do you make it productive?

My typical day involves lots of emails and phone calls with clients.

How do you bring ideas to life?

I am constantly trying to improve the way we operate and service clients to improve our efficiency and effectiveness. So I try new things out and when they work well we adopt them.

What’s one trend that excites you?

Continued efficiency in the legal profession which allows us to lower our rates to clients.

What is one habit of yours that makes you more productive as an entrepreneur?

Constant improvement, I am always looking for ways that we can improve.

What advice would you give your younger self?

Enjoy life more including the hard times.

Tell us something that’s true that almost nobody agrees with you on.

It’s better not to delegate some simple tasks if the time to supervise is similar to the time to complete the task.

As an entrepreneur, what is the one thing you do over and over and recommend everyone else do?

I attempt to be a perfectionist. I think all business owners should try to be perfect in everything they do because if you aim for perfect you’ll probably at least achieve greatness.

What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business?

We focus on efficiency which allows us to offer lower rates which helps grow the law firm.

What is one failure you had as an entrepreneur, and how did you overcome it?

Too many failures to count, I overcome each by improving so the same mistake is not made.

What is one business idea that you’re willing to give away to our readers?

Success if primarily determined before you take action. Whether you think you can, or think you can’t, you’re right.

What is the best $100 you recently spent? What and why?

That would have to be on anything that created a good memory with my family.

What is one piece of software or a web service that helps you be productive?

I am a power user of Microsoft Outlook which I use for everything.

What is the one book that you recommend our community should read and why?

Unlimited Power, Anthony Robbins. Success starts with getting really good at controlling your brain.
