Mags Lybolt

Author

Magdalena “Mags” Lybolt is a seasoned business owner and prolific writer. Mags understands the commitment necessary to run a business, write several books, and be an excellent, attentive mother to her children.
Mags has an MBA in Business from Purdue University, where she specialized in marketing and technology. By her late 20s, Mags had established and run a successful business in the marketing industry. This was especially significant since many other firms were shutting their doors or failing to launch as a result of the recession that the United States was going through at the time.
Mags discovered her passion for business development while working closely with physicians. She recognized the excellent outcomes of her efforts and that many doctors were failing to utilize appropriate marketing techniques to promote their practices. Mags, therefore, decided to go it alone and create a company to meet this growing demand. Mags helped physicians in marketing, developing, growing, and expanding their practices. Through her expertise and experience, she was able to open seven accounts in the first month of operation, with considerable success. The company expanded swiftly and was quite successful. She then chose to pursue additional business opportunities (selling this one) once she had completed the business’s objectives.
Mags has a unique approach to the profession as an author. Many writers are eager to have their work published with their name on the front. Mags, on the other hand, sometimes utilizes a pen name when it feels natural to her. The deeply passionate topics of which she writes are personal for not just herself, but for so many, and for that reason, she will not reveal the names of these books. The book must “find” the reader, according to Mags. Those interested in her themes are reaching for genuine change. Her writings are intended to offer genuine assistance only to people who come into contact with them through an honest connection.
The next two books to be published under the Mags LyBolt name are “You Got This” and “Prayers to Pray Over Your Children”. These will be available very soon. “You Got This” is a book that is meant to inspire and bless readers. There are several short readings in the book to assist readers recognize and develop positive habits. “Prayers to Pray Over Your Children” is a book with prayers that you may read with or to your child while reading it. Mags saw that there were few books for parents wanting to pray with their children. This book is intended to assist parents and guardians in prayer at any time of day or night, regardless of the hour. This book was written to provide parents the option of selecting from a variety of prayer styles while also assisting them in creating personalized prayers. This book was developed to offer samples of both types of prayers and blessings that might be recited over their children every day for parents who are having difficulties deciding on the sort of prayer to say.

Where did the idea for your career come from?

The idea of becoming an author was driven by the desire to reach people and be a blessing in their lives. I enjoy writing and sharing my thoughts, feelings, knowledge, and experiences with others through my books. I also like to help others develop positive habits and inspirational practices. This all helps individuals achieve more happiness within themselves!

What does your typical day look like and how do you make it productive?

I start my day with gratitude for all that I currently have (there is always something to be grateful for). I also make sure that I have made time for spirituality and prayer. My husband and I also keep each other, as well as our family productive by encouraging goal setting and regularly checking in with one another.

How do you bring ideas to life?

I bring ideas to life through focused thinking, prayer, and asking for assistance. I also take the time to read a lot of books on self-improvement, spiritual growth, and philosophy.

What’s one trend that excites you?

The trend that really excites me is the increase in people looking inward to assess their thoughts, actions, and reactions. The journey towards enlightenment has never been more important for the sake of our survival as a species.

What is one habit of yours that makes you more productive as an entrepreneur?

I am highly organized because I believe that creativity can be messy (it sometimes may feel like clutter). As far as writing goes, I make sure that I have my book outlines all mapped out so that I never lose sight of the purpose behind each chapter.

What advice would you give your younger self?

I would tell my younger self to believe in myself more because no matter what obstacle or challenge is presented, I can find a way to overcome it! Also, that everything happens at its own pace and that there is absolutely no need to rush.

Tell us something that’s true that almost nobody agrees with you on.

I think that it is essential for people to understand that the path towards enlightenment/happiness is one in which each person must walk on their own. We all have our unique paths in life and with this understanding in place, we are able to find peace within ourselves!

As an entrepreneur, what is the one thing you do over and over and recommend everyone else do?

I believe that the best way to successfully grow as an entrepreneur is to be consistent in whatever it is that you do to generate revenue (e.g., blogging, book writing, social media marketing etc.) Consistency will help you achieve more success overall because it also contributes to building trust with your clients/customers.

What is one strategy that has helped you grow your business?

One strategy that has helped grow my business is asking for help from others whenever I need assistance. Being able to ask for assistance allows me to access a more diverse perspective on matters while also getting more done within a shorter period of time.

What is one failure you had as an entrepreneur, and how did you overcome it?

I try my best to leave my failures in the past and never dwell on them. This takes a lot of faith. When times get challenging, one must stay in faith. Don’t give up. Trust. When you show the universe that you have faith in it to provide, the universe will naturally provide to you. It’s the forces of nature. What you put in the universe, that’s what it will give you back. Most of the time, obstacles and challenges are there to see if you lack faith and it’s usually an indicator that you are close to success. Many times challenges are placed by competitors who see your potential. So keep pushing forward.

What is one business idea that you’re willing to give away to our readers?

I think the idea for a business that I would love to give away is something in the field of mindfulness. Mindfulness is an integral aspect of happiness, mental health, and wellness. I feel like there are many people out there who are very interested in mindfulness but either don’t know how to start or are unaware of its benefits.

What is the best $100 you recently spent? What and why?

I recently bought a bracelet in which the Buddhist mantra OM MANI PADME HUM is engraved in. This mantra translates to “all living beings without exception, possess the very nature of happiness”. I wear this bracelet daily because it’s my reminder that I am 100% responsible for my own state of peace and joy.

What is one piece of software or a web service that helps you be productive?

I use Evernote to keep track of outlines for my book. I also use it to brainstorm ideas, take notes etc. It’s an all-around productivity tool!

What is the one book that you recommend our community should read and why?

My favorites are authors such as Robert Greene, Wayne Dyer, Napolean Hill, Dale Carnegie, and Jen Sincero. They have always inspired me. Of course, if I were to suggest my own, I would say to check out my two new books launching soon: “You Got This” and “Prayers to Pray Over Your Children”.

“A person who never made a mistake never tried anything new.” ~ Albert Einstein
